Even more so when you have the best ayurvedic home-cooking, a bit of conscious breathing, creative encouragement, and nature’s most nourishing treatments.

Come stay with me, in my home, with my closest companions (ok, besties!) to soak up the amazingly healthy (and yummy) Sri Lankan cuisine, to learn about this land’s buddhist and hindu spirituality, while rejuvenating your body and mind to a state of peace and calm.

The Destination

Nestled on the stunning southern coast of Sri Lanka, Ahangama offers the perfect backdrop for an Ayurvedic retreat. This tranquil coastal town, known for its palm-fringed beaches and serene environment, is an idyllic escape from the rush of modern life.

With the soothing sound of the Indian Ocean and lush greenery surrounding you, Ahangama provides a peaceful sanctuary where nature's beauty meets ancient Ayurvedic wisdom. The area’s natural charm, combined with Sri Lanka’s rich cultural heritage, creates an ideal environment for rejuvenation, relaxation, and holistic healing - and a bit of surfing too, year round!

Beyond the peaceful ambiance of Ahangama, this destination offers a wealth of exciting activities to complement your retreat experience. Just a short drive away, you can embark on thrilling safaris in nearby wildlife reserves, where you’ll encounter elephants, leopards, and vibrant birdlife.

For those seeking adventure on the waves, Ahangama is famous for its surf breaks, with lessons available for beginners and seasoned surfers alike. Additionally, you can explore Sri Lanka’s world-renowned tea plantations, where you’ll discover the art of tea-making amidst rolling hills and scenic vistas. Whether you crave adventure or cultural immersion, Ahangama has something for everyone.

As you embrace this healing journey, you’ll not only let go of toxins but replenish yourself with the purest, most nourishing Ayurvedic meals—each bite bringing you closer to true balance and vitality. It’s time to reconnect with your essence and awaken your inner healer.

The Yoga

As a dedicated soul seeker with a natural inclination to be as healthy as possible, when I come to Sri Lanka I take a moment to tap into myself in just the ways I need – calm the mind, stretch the body, open my heart, and listen to my soul.

I honor me. I pray to the goddess growing within me, giving myself a hefty dose of deeply nurturing self-love. Visualizing a future for myself - a dream - that fills me with passion and inspiration. This retreat is curated specifically for the creative, soul driven, independent woman (and the men who support these types of strong, powerful women).

The yoga, meditation, and creative activities will teach you how to embody the god/goddess you most wish to be. Through our time together, we will focus on explaining yogic techniques for developing greater self-awareness with an emphasis on the rituals of self-love, belief, and trust. This retreat’s soul-intention is to infuse your life with an inspiring soul revival .

This Sri Lanka Ayurvedic Trip offers a thoughtfully curated program of devotional yoga by Rituals of the Soul author, 20-year experienced yoga teacher, and trip organizer Kori Hahn.
